Fans of Kanye “Ye” West rallied to the singer’s aid Monday and set up a GoFundMe to help the disgraced rapper regain his financial status.
West, who has come under fire in the past weeks after a series of anti-Semitic outbursts, has been the subject of several GoFundMe’s in an attempt to “make him a billionaire again,” All HipHop reported.
One fundraiser was already taken down by the site after only making $5, however, several more allegedly remain active.
The rapper’s net worth took a downward plunge after his deal with Adidas fell apart.
“Adidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech,” Adidas said in a statement.
“Ye’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful, and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect, and fairness.”
The 45-year-old rapper and Yeezy fashion guru was also dropped by CAA and also had his documentary shelved indefinitely.
West claimed on Instagram that he lost nearly $2 billion in one day.
It was reported by West’s inner circle that the “Gold Digger” singer has long had a fascination with Adolf Hitler.
This is not the first time that fans have sprung to West’s aid: In 2016. the public managed to raise nearly $50,000 when the singer announced that he was facing bankruptcy.
