The ex-wife of NHL star Evander Kane has publically revealed herself as one of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs earliest sexual assault accusers on Friday.
Anna Kane, who was married to the Edmonton Oilers forward from 2018 to 2021, was the fourth woman to step forward and accuse the disgraced rapper of sexually assaulting her at his NYC recording studio when she was a teenager.
Kane originally filed a lawsuit against Combs in December 2023 but only identified herself as Jane Doe.
She was then ordered to have the suit amended Friday to include her name, according to TMZ.
“I had hoped to use a pseudonym in pursuing justice for what happened to me as a teenager,” Kane told Page Six in a statement via her attorney Douglas Wigdor.
Kane’s amendment came as Combs’ lawyers were accused of attempting to intimidate the anonymous accusers into stepping forward.
“Defendants’ demand that I use my name was an attempt to intimidate me, but I am not intimidated. I am prepared to proceed and hold accountable those who have harmed me,” Anna Kane added.
The lawsuit, obtained by Page Six, named three defendants – Combs, Harve Pierre, the music mogul’s longtime lieutenant, and a third, unidentified person.
Pierre was Combs’ longtime lieutenant and former president of Bad Boy Entertainment.
Kane accused the three men of drugging and raping her when she was 17 years old and a junior in high school.
Kane claims she had gone to a Detroit nightclub with friends where she met Pierre who allegedly called her “hot” and wanted her to meet his “best friend” and “brother” Combs.
Pierre allegedly called the rapper and had Kane talk to him, as Combs wanted the teen to fly out to New York City with Pierre and the third man so they could meet.
Before the private flight to New Jersey’s Teterboro Airport, Pierre – who allegedly was smoking crack cocaine – forced the teen to perform oral sex on him, the suit claimed.
When the group arrived at Combs’ and Bad Boy’s Daddy’s House Recording Studio, the teen was given drugs and alcohol by the three men.
“As the night wore on, the 17-year-old Ms. Kane became more and more inebriated, eventually to the point that she could not possibly have consented to having sex with anyone, much less someone twice her age,” the complaint stated.
“While at the studio, Ms. Kane was gang raped by Mr. Combs, the Third Assailant and Mr. Pierre, in that order.”
Kane alleged Combs was the first one to rape her inside a bathroom as she “hung over” a sink as he removed her underwear and forced himself on her.
“While Mr. Combs was raping Ms. Doe, he complained that he could not ‘get off’ unless she pinched his nipples as hard as she could,” the filing alleges.
“Mr. Combs then watched on as Third Assailant, who Ms. Kane had not even realized had begun to have sex with her, raped Ms. Kane as she told him to stop.”
“After Third Assailant was finished,” the suit continues, “Mr. Pierre took his turn at raping Ms. Kane and then violently forced her to give him oral sex, during which Ms. Kane was choking and struggling to breathe.”
Kane alleged that when Pierre was done, she fell to the bathroom floor and laid in the fetal position as her “vagina was in pain.”
After the suspected gang rape, Kane, who could “barely walk” was helped to a car and brought back to the airport.
She was left with limited memory of the flight back to Michigan.
Combs, 54, responded to the suit at the time in a statement through his rep adamantly denying the claims, saying: “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.”
“For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy,” the statement said. “Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday.”
“Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth,” the statement concluded.
Kane’s suit included four photos of the teen inside Combs’ studio including one picture of her sitting on the rapper’s lap.
She is suing Combs, Pierre, the record label and the recording studio for unspecified damages under a city law called the Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Law, which allows victims of abuse that occurred in the city to bring old claims even if they’ve since passed outside the statute of limitations.
Combs remains behind bars inside a federal prison in Brooklyn after another attempt to be released on bail was denied by a judge.
The 55-year-old has pleaded not guilty to charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and prostitution.
Anna and Evander married in 2018 and share a daughter.
In 2021, Anna and Evander Kane divorced after she accused him of being a gambling addict who threw games for profit and abandoned her and their child to party in Europe as their house was being “taken by the bank.”
Evander Kane denied the allegations and was cleared of wrongdoing amid an NHL investigation.
