Trump’s new border czar Tom Homan defends plans to boot millions of migrants from US

President-elect Donald Trump’s new border czar Tom Homan has defended plans to boot millions of migrants from the US, declaring Monday “I don’t care what people think of me.”

Homan made the declaration during an appearance on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” after Trump revealed the former acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement director would be in charge of securing the US border for his second administration.

“Frankly, I don’t care what people think about me, especially in the left,” Homan said when asked how he planned to handle criticism of Trump’s border policy.

“I don’t care what anybody’s opinions like illegal immigration. When you create a crisis this big, all these other bad things happen. That’s what we have to secure the border.

He added: “I don’t care if you’re Republican or Democrat or independent for border security is national security. We should all be on the same side on that.”
